Accountant - Madison, AL (On-site) Full-time | $55,000-$70,000 DOE Join a global automotive plastics manufacturer with a growing U.S. presence Overview This role is a strong entry point into manufacturing accounting within a well-established Japanese company expanding in the U.S. You'll gain hands-on experience in Accounts Payable while building exposure to broader accounting functions tied directly to production and operations. Key Responsibilities Process high-volume vendor invoices (raw materials, supplies, services) Perform three-way matching (PO, receiving, invoice) Partner with Purchasing/Receiving to resolve discrepancies Maintain vendor master data and AP records Execute payment runs (checks, ACH, wires) Reconcile vendor statements and manage AP aging Support cash flow planning and working capital tracking Assist with month-end/year-end close and journal entries Reconcile general ledger accounts Support reporting, audits, and documentation Contribute to process improvements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 2-5 years of accounting experience (manufacturing preferred) Strong Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment ERP experience required Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups) Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Eagerness to grow within a structured, team-oriented environment Why This Role Build a strong foundation in manufacturing accounting Exposure to full-cycle accounting and financial operations Opportunity to grow within a global company with an expanding U.S. footprint Stable, team-oriented environment with long-term potential
