In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping, and supporting overall accounting functions. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), governmental accounting standards, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, proficiency with multiple financial software platforms, and a passion for maintaining accurate financial data. Responsibilities Perform daily bookkeeping duties including data entry, journal entries, and ledger management using accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft Reconcile accounts on the balance sheet and general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness Assist with budgeting, credit analysis, and financial data analysis utilizing Excel data analysis tools and spreadsheets Skills Extensive experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar systems Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles including GAAP and governmental accounting standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel for data analysis and spreadsheet management Familiarity with technical accounting concepts including journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, debits & credits Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Excellent numeracy skills combined with strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and account analysis Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality work standards Join us if you're ready to leverage your accounting expertise in a vibrant environment that values precision, transparency, and continuous improvement.
