Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Management:
Process invoices and resolve any variances between internal and external records to maintain accurate financial records.Journal Entries:
Create and manage entries for financial transactions.Payment Handling:
Reconcile payments from various vendors and ensure records are up-to-date.Financial Reconciliation:
Support daily financial reconciliation activities to aid in reporting. Forecast vs.Actual Analysis:
Support the analysis and presentation of forecast vs. actual results for monthly reconciliation activities.Ad-hoc Analyses:
Contribute to ad-hoc analyses that inform strategic decision-making across the organization.AI Utilization:
Leverage Claude to support work across all assigned responsibilities: conducting research, synthesizing data, drafting and refining content, brainstorming ideas, and identifying opportunities to share useful AI applications with the broader team.Required Qualifications:
Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate, Masters, or MBA program at an accredited institution. This opportunity is open to all students, from first-year students to seniors, MS students, or MBA students. Demonstrated ability to balance academic and extracurricular commitments (i.e., work experience, clubs, volunteer activities, teams, etc.). Basic understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement). Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, including debits and credits. Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to create and manage spreadsheets for financial analysis. Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus.
