Location:
This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Our team works closely together in person, making this a strong fit for someone who wants to live and build their career in the Mountain Home area. Remote work is not available.
Note:
Candidates must have 2+ years of tax experience preparing S corporation, individual, and partnership returns. Approximately 5+ years of directly relevant tax experience is preferred. CPA licensure is preferred but not required. Job Description Prepare and review federal and state individual, S corporation, partnership, and other business tax returns. Analyze client financial records and tax documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Research tax issues and identify practical tax planning opportunities for clients. Communicate directly with clients regarding tax questions, documentation, planning needs, and filing requirements. Assist clients with year-round tax planning and business advisory needs. Help resolve tax notices and other client tax matters. Maintain accurate, organized workpapers and supporting documentation. Stay current on changes to federal and state tax laws and regulations. Collaborate with other tax professionals on complex engagements and deadlines. Use modern tax and accounting technology to improve efficiency and client service. Qualifications 2+ years of directly relevant tax preparation experience required. Experience with S corporation, individual, and partnership tax returns required. 5+ years of tax experience strongly preferred. CPA preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of federal and state taxation. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team. Must be willing to work full-time on-site in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
