Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. You will work closely with management and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Responsibilities Handle vendor management, including negotiations and service coordination Maintain bookkeeping records using QuickBooks and perform basic bookkeeping tasks Manage payroll processing and assist with budgeting activities Ensure filing systems are organized and up-to-date; handle document management and record keeping Maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, and staff through phone etiquette and email correspondence Qualifications Proficiency in QuickBooks, calendar management software, and multi-line phone systems 3 year minimum of accounting experience Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, bookkeeping, and schedule management Experience in vendor management, payroll processing, budgeting and job costing is highly desirable Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
