We're seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team and play a key role in supporting Viant's growing operations. This position is responsible for assisting with general accounting functions, including daily cash management and monthly general ledger reconciliations, while partnering closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Daily cash management - monitoring the cash position in multiple banks, sending approved wires/ach as well as setting up wire templates, addressing positive pay, and ensuring activity is being recorded on the ledgers. Analyze and reconcile inter-company activity. Prepare month-end standard and miscellaneous journal entries, supported with proper documentation. Responsible for assigned general ledger account balances through proper account analysis including the reconciliation of sub-ledger information. Assist with special projects and requests. Oversee vendor maintenance. Oversee the expense report process. Oversee the P-card program.
Skills and Experience:
