We're partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This position will play a key role in revenue recognition, job costing, and financial reporting activities that support complex manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has experience working in a larger company environment, understands project-based or production-related accounting, and has worked within a robust ERP system such as SAP S/4HANA or Oracle NetSuite.

What You'll Be DoingPerform monthly revenue recognition activities in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

Analyze contracts, sales orders, and project activity to ensure accurate revenue recording.

Maintain and reconcile work-in-process (WIP) schedules.

Review and analyze job costing data, including labor, materials, overhead, and project profitability.

Partner with operations, project managers, and manufacturing leadership to monitor project performance and cost variances.

Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives.

Investigate cost variances and recommend process improvements.

Leverage ERP reporting tools to streamline accounting processes and improve financial visibility.

Assist with audit requests and internal control procedures.
