Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable f ull- time Office Assistant with an accounting background to join our construction company team. This role combines administrative support with basic accounting and bookkeeping responsibilities, playing a key role in maintaining efficient office operations and accurate financial accounting , knowledge of Auto CAD and having construction engineering experience The ideal candidate will have prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to apply their accounting knowledge while gaining exposure to the construction industry. Duties Perform daily administrative tasks to support office operations Assist with bookkeeping, including data entry, invoice tracking, and expense recording using QuickBooks or similar software Reconcile accounts, track payments, and assist with basic financial reporting Maintain accurate and organized financial and administrative records Answer phone calls, manage emails, and handle general inquiries professionally Coordinate schedules, meetings, and project-related documentation Support project teams with document preparation and file management Manage office supplies, mail distribution, and general office organization Assist with vendor and sub contractor communications and follow up on invoices or payments Prepare reports and spreadsheets using quickbooks Qualifications /
Experience Required:
Accounting or bookkeeping background (education or work experience) Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and/or Google Workspace Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and customer service skills Prior experience in construction or property management is a plus Bilingual (English/Chinese) is highly preferred Position Details Full-Time Position Opportunity for growth within the company Hands-on experience in both administrative and accounting functions prefer bilingual -Spanish and English Closing Join our construction team and contribute to both the operational and financial success of our projects.
