Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant – Agriculture | Kern County, CA A well-established agriculture company in Kern County is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants to gain hands-on experience in a stable, growing industry.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary:

$65,000–$75,000 Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)

Key Responsibilities:

Handle month-end close processes including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Prepare and analyze financial statements Maintain general ledger and support daily accounting operations Assist with AP/AR as needed in a multi-entity environment Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls Partner with operations teams on financial reporting and analysis

Qualifications:

1–3 years of accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Agriculture industry experience is a plus Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment This role offers strong mentorship, exposure to full-cycle accounting, and long-term growth potential within a stable local company. #LI-AC8 #
