We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Burbank finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or someone beginning a career in accounting who wants to build hands-on corporate accounting experience. You will work closely with an experienced finance team and gain practical experience across key accounting functions, including general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end close. SAP training will be provided as part of your onboarding and development. We are looking for someone with a strong accounting foundation, attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to grow into greater responsibility over time. Prior professional work experience is valued, even if it was outside of accounting. What You'll Do Assist with general ledger accounting and month-end closing activities Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate review and guidance Assist with balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities Assist with researching and resolving accounting discrepancies Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation Help prepare schedules, reports, and financial information for the finance team Learn and use SAP for day-to-day accounting activities Assist with audit requests and supporting documentation as needed Work with members of the finance team and other departments to obtain information and resolve accounting-related questions Follow established accounting procedures and internal controls Take on additional accounting responsibilities as knowledge and experience develop What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting required Recent accounting graduates are encouraged to apply Prior accounting experience or an accounting internship is a plus, but not required Previous professional, business, or office experience is valued, even if outside of accounting Foundational understanding of accounting principles Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively as part of a team Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn SAP training will be provided What We Offer Salary range: $50,000-$60,000 per year Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off Life insurance Hands-on training and professional development Opportunity to develop practical corporate accounting and SAP experience Opportunity to grow your accounting skills and take on increased responsibility About De Rigo REM De Rigo REM is the Los Angeles-based subsidiary of De Rigo, a global leader in the design, production, and distribution of high-quality eyewear.
