Do you enjoy working across teams to keep financial operations precise, compliant, and efficient? As an AP Accountant , you will take ownership of end-to-end accounting operations , supporting Accounts Payable (AP) , Cash Analysis and General Ledger (GL) activities. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, improving accounting processes, and ensuring smooth daily operations that keep our organization running at its best.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Manage full-cycle

Accounts Payable:

Review AP invoices primarily entered by an external consultant while maintaining vendor master data and payment records. When necessary, accurately enter AP invoices to ensure timely and compliant processing.

Support month-end and year-end close:

Prepare AP aging reports, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations to support an accurate and timely month-end close. Maintain vendor W-9 records and prepare and assist with the annual 1099 filing process.

Maintain and reconcile financial accounts:

Manage vendor correspondence and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. Verify the accuracy of vendor accounts and aging balances, investigating and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records. Assist with tax and compliance reporting: Provide supporting documentation for U.S. and Canadian sales and use tax filings, audits, and financial reviews.

Cash Analysis and Cash Forecast:

Prepare cash flow analyses and cash flow forecasts to support treasury planning and liquidity management. Assist with monthly reconciliations for the Treasury module to ensure the accuracy and completeness of cash-related financial records.

Collaborate cross-functionally:

Partner with Finance, Treasury, Sales, Logistics and Operations teams to align on billing, payments, and reporting timelines.

Contribute to process improvement:

Identify and implement opportunities to strengthen internal controls and streamline accounting workflows.

Support audit readiness:

Maintain organized records and assist with audit requests to ensure compliance and transparency.

WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Location:

San Jose, California (On-site) Minimal travel required; occasional meetings with vendors or cross-functional teams.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING US 2-3

years of accounting experience in a high-tech or manufacturing environment . Proven strong experience of full-cycle AP and AP close processes. Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle or NetSuite. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation). Familiarity with month-end close , sales/use tax , cash analysis and account reconciliations . Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

WHAT YOUR EDUCATION LOOKS LIKE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

HOW WE WILL REWARD YOU

The base salary range for this position is $78,000 - $92,000 USD per year , depending on experience. This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in recognition of your contributions.
