We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support project-based accounting activities for a growing team in South San Jose, California. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records across active jobs, project cost accounting, change management and revenue recognition. The ideal candidate brings accounting experience within construction or a general contractor environment, along with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Provide weekly cash flow analysis detailing actual v forecast
• Examine Accounts Payable, and Receivable Aging to review short/long term cash forecasts
• Review Labor compliance, including Certified Payroll Reporting and job specific local hiring requirements and apprentice ration requirements.
• Partner with operations and project teams to issue customer invoices promptly and follow up on outstanding balances to support healthy cash flow.
• Manage Month-End, Quarter-End, Journal Entries, Ensure JE policy is following appropriate documentation
• Knowledge of Monthly workers Comp Audits.
