This position will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information while partnering with operational teams to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong general accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and experience working in a multi-entity, logistics, warehousing, or distribution environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation and Review Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are recorded accurately, timely, and in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies. Prepare and review balance-sheet reconciliations, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accrued liabilities, other current assets and intercompany accounts. Analyze monthly financial results by assigned project, investigate significant variances, and provide clear explanations to management. Support revenue recognition, customer billing, accounts receivable, and collections processes. Review operating expenses, warehouse costs, cost allocations, and departmental profitability. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow analysis, and management reporting. Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses to auditor inquiries. Assist with tax filings, business licenses, and other regulatory or compliance requirements. Identify opportunities to automate reports, streamline workflows, and improve the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes. Partner with operations, billing, sales, human resources, and other departments to resolve financial and accounting matters. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close and general ledger responsibilities. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and fundamental accounting principles. Experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and variance analyses. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data analysis. Experience with ERP or accounting systems; SAP experience is highly preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments. Preferred Qualifications Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, or supply-chain operations. Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions. Experience supporting external audits and internal-control compliance. Experience with financial-reporting automation or process-improvement initiatives. Bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
