Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the year-end close process, including accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial statement support. Analyze and maintain accounting records related to long-term debt, capital assets, depreciation, additions, disposals, and related schedules. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, adjusting entries, and supporting documentation. Review financial statements and schedules for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with governmental accounting standards. Support ACFR preparation and review, including research and application of applicable GASB standards. Assist with audit requests by gathering documentation, responding to inquiries, and resolving discrepancies.Pay range:
$35 to $75 per hour.Job type:
Contract/Temporary to December.Location:
Downey, CA.Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with Fridays off.
