Job Description
- Process customer purchase orders from receipt through estimates, invoicing, shipping paperwork, and related documentation.
- Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment posting, collections monitoring, and customer account reconciliation.
- Support accounts payable and general accounting activities while maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payments, invoices, purchase orders, and customer accounts.
- Prepare bank deposits, assist with multi-state sales tax reporting, and communicate with internal teams to support smooth daily operations.
- Provide administrative support, including filing, archiving, document organization, and communication with administration, sales, and service teams. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $25 to $28 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Required Qualifications- 4+ more years of experience in a similar accounting clerk, AP/AR, or accounting support role.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or another ERP system is required.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience working with purchase orders is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Basic knowledge of accounting functions, including payroll and taxes.
