Staff Accountant Manufacturing / Distribution

A growing manufacturing and distribution company in Escondido is seeking a Staff Accountant to support financial operations, cost accounting, and inventory reporting. This role offers strong exposure to inventory accounting, cost analysis, and operational finance within a fast-paced environment. The Staff Accountant will work cross-functionally with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate tracking of financial data and support business decision-making.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliationsAssist with inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS) analysisMaintain and reconcile general ledger accountsPrepare financial reports and operational analysisSupport audit processes and compliance documentationAnalyze financial data and identify trends or discrepanciesAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
