In this vital role, you will oversee daily bookkeeping activities, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and maintain precise financial records. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to the seamless operation of our financial processes, empowering us to make informed business decisions. This position offers an engaging environment for professionals passionate about accounting, data analysis, and financial accuracy. Duties Manage accounts payable and receivable processes using leading financial software such as QuickBooksOnline Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure data integrity and accuracy Conduct monthly account reconciliations and review financial statements for discrepancies or anomalies the middle man between client and customer phone skills are a must Maintain meticulous records of all financial transactions, including data entry and double-entry bookkeeping practices Assist with internal audits and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance procedures to uphold corporate governance standards Support the implementation and management of accounting systems such as PeopleSoft or Microsoft Dynamics to optimize workflow efficiency Requirements Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles with a strong understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, and account analysis Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Workday, or similar platforms; experience with ADP, Ceridian, Kronos is a plus Solid knowledge of GAAP and governmental accounting standards; familiarity with SOX compliance is highly desirable Strong skills in Excel data analysis, spreadsheets management, and Microsoft Office applications for reporting and data visualization Excellent numeracy skills combined with attention to detail for accurate data entry and account reconciliation Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining professionalism at all times Effective communication skills for customer service interactions within finance operations or cross-departmental collaboration Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting environments preferred but not required Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise makes a tangible impact!
