Job Description
Job Responsibilities :
1. Execute accurate and timely monthly journal entries. 2. Conduct thorough account reconciliations and bank reconciliations to ensure precision in financial reporting. 3. Maintain Fixed Asset and Depreciation schedules, contributing to accurate valuation and tracking of organizational assets. 4. Collaborate in the preparation of the monthly Balance Sheet and Income Statement, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and providing insights into financial performance. 5. Play a pivotal role in the completion of month-end and year-end closing processes, contributing to the overall financial stability and compliance of the organization. 6. Prepare and submit the annual Form 571-N Property Tax filing, ensuring adherence to local tax regulations. 7. Prepare and submit Quarterly Sales and Use Tax filing, promoting compliance with tax obligations. 8. Prepare comprehensive documentation for items requested by external auditors, facilitating smooth auditing processes. 9. Assist in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, fostering efficient financial operations. 10. Provide comprehensive account analysis, identifying discrepancies and implementing solutions to ensure accuracy and integrity in financial data. 11. Review monthly inventory transactions meticulously, reconciling them with the General Ledger to maintain precise inventory records. 12. Take charge of preparing and validating product costing, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives. 13. Generate detailed daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, offering valuable insights into sales performance and contributing to strategic decision-making. 14. Analyze weekly commission and scrap reports, aiding in incentive calculations and waste management strategies. 15. Collaborate on special projects as needed, showcasing flexibility and adaptability. 16. Uphold the confidentiality of company financials and sensitive information. 17. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure the organization's financial practices align with current standards and legal requirements.Positions Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting
REQUIRED
.- 3 years of general ledger accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
REQUIRED
.- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and creating Pivot Tables and nested formulas .
- Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics NAV or equivalent ERP system.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently and collaboratively.
- Possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
