Job Description
SALARY RANGE
$72K- 76K, ANNUALLY / DOE.
- Friday 7am
- 4pm This opportunity offers exposure to manufacturing accounting, cross-functional communication, and a stable team environment where strong attention to detail, accountability, and process improvement are valued.
Requires:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum two years' professional accounting experience.
- Must have working knowledge of GAAP.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook; operate 10-key by touch
- Experience with automated accounting system, SAP experience preferred but not required.
- Requires strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work with detail, good organizational skills and can meet deadlines in timely manner.
- Valid Driver's License is required and a clean driving record.
- Travel required to Roseville and other subsidiary locations as needed. Required Qualifications and Skills
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, financial reporting, and internal department communication.
- Maintain balance sheet schedules, complete account analysis, and support fixed asset reporting.
- Review cost center, internal order, and sales margin reporting for accuracy.
- Perform periodic internal control audits and support annual budgeting activities.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing, plant, or cost accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
- Experience reviewing financial reports, analyzing variances, and identifying reporting inaccuracies.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of autonomy while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with accounting, operations, and plant personnel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to predictable and regular attendance.
- Ability to travel to Roseville and other subsidiary locations as needed.
