In this role, you will be responsible for managing accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will support the organization's financial health by handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, processing transactions, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your skills in accounting systems and financial concepts will make a meaningful impact. Duties Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using financial software such as QuickBooks Perform bank and account reconciliations, including balance sheet and account analysis to ensure accuracy Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review Handle data entry with precision, ensuring all transactions are correctly categorized and documented Assist with month-end closing procedures, including ledger maintenance and financial data analysis using Excel data analysis tools Utilize various payroll and HR systems for payroll processing and employee record management Collaborate with external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial records Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information and customer data Skills Strong understanding of accounting principles including GAAP and governmental accounting standards Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Experience with financial software for payroll and HR functions Knowledge of technical accounting concepts including journal entries, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation and double-entry bookkeeping Ability to perform Excel data analysis efficiently using spreadsheets for reporting and reconciliation tasks Excellent numeracy skills combined with strong attention to detail in data entry and account reconciliation Effective communication skills for customer service interactions and cross-departmental collaboration Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining high accuracy in all tasks Join us in a role where your expertise in accounting systems, financial concepts, and meticulous record-keeping will drive our organization's success.
