Sr. Accountant

•Growing Entertainment Co. seeking to add to growing team.•We're seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial operations for a growing entertainment company. This role will manage close processes, financial reporting, and compliance while partnering cross-functionally across the business. This role has option of working from home 1 day a week. ResponsibilitiesLead month-end and quarter-end close, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare monthly financial statements and management reportsOversee accounts payable, vendor relationships, and cash applicationEnsure revenue recognition compliance under U.S. GAAPImprove accounting processes, controls, and documentationResearch accounting treatment for complex transactionsSupport annual audits and liaise with external auditorsPartner with FP&A, production, legal, and business teamsContribute to system enhancements and ad hoc projectsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance4-7+ years of accounting experienceStrong

U.S. GAAP

knowledgeAudit support experienceAdvanced Excel; ERP experience requiredEntertainment/media experience preferredCPA strongly preferred.
