The ideal candidate will have a background in tax, audit, fund administration, or fund accounting, preferably with experience supporting venture capital, private equity, or investment management clients. Requirements Key Responsibilities:
Fund Accounting & Reporting
+ Support fund accounting and reporting activities across multiple venture funds.
+ Assist with capital calls, distributions, management fees, and fund expense tracking.
+ Maintain reconciliations, schedules, and supporting workpapers.
+ Track investment activity, commitments, and capital balances.
+ Assist with investor reporting and ad hoc requests.
+ Partner with the Fund Administrator to help ensure accurate and timely reporting. Audit, Tax & Compliance
+ Assist with annual audits and tax reporting processes.
+ Prepare and organize supporting documentation for auditors and tax providers.
+ Support investor tax reporting, including K-1 packages.
+ Assist with LP due diligence and other compliance-related requests. Management Company & Operations
+ Support management company and GP accounting activities.
+ Assist with expense allocations, cash reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
+ Help maintain accounting records and internal schedules.
+ Support process improvements, fund launches, and special projects as the firm grows. Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA is a plus. + 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably within venture capital, private equity, fund administration, or alternative investments.
+ Understanding of partnership accounting, fund structures, capital calls, and distributions.
+ Experience working with fund administrators, auditors, and tax providers preferred.
+ Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
