+ Carry About the OpportunityA leading early-stage venture capital firm is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its finance and operations team. Reporting to the Controller, this role will support accounting, reporting, and fund operations across multiple venture funds and related entities.
You'll work closely with the Controller, CFO, and external fund administrator, gaining broad exposure to fund accounting, investor reporting, audits, tax, and fund operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to deepen their VC accounting experience while working on a small, collaborative team.
What You'll DoSupport accounting and reporting for multiple venture fundsAssist with capital calls, distributions, management fees, and fund expensesPrepare reconciliations, schedules, and supporting workpapersTrack investment activity, commitments, and capital balancesAssist with investor reporting, audits, tax processes, and K-1sSupport management company and GP accounting, including month-end closePartner with the external fund administrator, auditors, and tax providersContribute to process improvements and special projects as the firm grows
