An Accountant organizes and maintains financial records and prepares financial statements for companies and organizations. Works as a public accountant (prepares financial documents where public disclosure is required by law, such as business balance sheets and tax returns), management accountant (prepares financial information for internal use by a company) or government accountant (maintains records for government agencies).
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Accountant to join our Finance team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to corporate accounting, financial reporting, and financial operations. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and committed to accuracy. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable, employee expense reimbursements, and vendor payments. Prepare customer invoices and assist with accounts receivable collections. Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger. Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Support revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting under company policies. Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for financial reporting and external audits. Maintain accounting records and ensure data accuracy in the ERP/accounting system. Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to resolve accounting questions. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency. Perform other accounting and finance projects as assigned. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 0-2 years of accounting experience (internships are welcome). Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High level of integrity and professionalism. Preferred Internship or experience in a corporate accounting environment. Experience with accounting or ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or Microsoft Dynamics. Familiarity with SaaS business models, subscription billing, or revenue recognition concepts. Working knowledge of
U.S. GAAP.
