Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Produce monthly financial reports for assigned facilities with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining supporting documentation.
- Review financial results to identify variances, recommend corrections, and resolve inconsistencies in the general ledger.
- Work closely with Accounts Payable to confirm the accuracy of invoices, disbursements, and accrued expenses.
- Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations and investigate outstanding items promptly.
- Provide organized schedules and records to assist with audit, tax, and financial review requests.
- Monitor financial activity and communicate meaningful trends or issues to internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to accounting process improvements and support system-related tasks when needed.
