Job Description

Company :

Whisman Management LLC is a real estate investment firm with a excellent portfolio of multi-family residential properties and mobile home parks. Our property management and real estate investing has delivered a great value to our partners and excellent services to our residents. We are opening a new position seeking a professional with accounting and finance experiences and being able to contribute to multiple tasks. Including using accounting software, Microsoft office, Excel and other data storage and retrieval functions. Our financial records should be prepared to meet tax reporting standard. Your role is to do proper partnership allocation, amortization of multiple loans and schedule for payments with different parties. Real estate background will be helpful.

Responsibilities:
Financial Record Maintenance:

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, legal billings, and multi-year file management.

Vendor Invoice Management:

Review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation prior to payment processing.

Expense Oversight:

Audit and process employee expense credit card transactions and petty cash expenses.

Payment Processing:

Timely issuance of checks to prevent late payments, coordinating the check schedule with your supervisor. Manage check supplies efficiently.

Vendor Relations:

Handle new vendor setup and maintain vendor W-9 forms.

Association Control:

Update and maintain association control spreadsheets.

Problem-Solving:

Identify discrepancies and recommend resolution strategies.

Team Collaboration:

Provide support to colleagues and supervisors, fostering a cooperative work environment.

Special Projects:

Contribute to various activities and special projects as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of work experience Accounting knowledge including payroll, AR, AP, using account software and reconciliations Microsoft office Skills and proficiency in Excel Real estate and property management experiences are a plus
