Duration:
6+ months with potential to convert to permanent One of our clients is looking to hire a Senior Staff Accountant to support the corporate accounting team and monthly close process. This role will focus on general ledger accounting, reconciliations, fixed assets, prepaids, and journal entries. Key Responsibilities Support monthly and quarterly close, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Manage prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assets , including depreciation and CIP. Reconcile cash, clearing, and other balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies. Prepare accurate supporting schedules and maintain audit-ready documentation. Assist with internal and external audit requests. Identify and escalate accounting issues and help improve accounting processes. Qualifications 4+ years of accounting experience. Strong experience with GL, month-end close, fixed assets, prepaids, and reconciliations . Strong Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and pivot tables. Working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX controls. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet close deadlines. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume accounting environment.
