In this role, you will prepare and review business tax returns, analyze financial data, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. You'll research evolving tax laws, advise on credits and deductions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data-driven, cloud-based tax solutions. Responsibilities Prepare and review small business federal and state tax returns using Intuit platforms Analyze financial statements and ledgers to ensure accurate tax treatment and compliance Research tax laws and regulations to advise on credits, deductions, and planning opportunities Collaborate with cross-functional product and finance teams to improve tax workflows and tools Support customers and internal stakeholders with complex tax questions and issue resolution Maintain detailed documentation and workpapers to support filings and audits Leverage data-driven insights to identify process improvements and automation opportunities Stay current on tax code changes, IRS guidance, and best practices through continuous learning Required Skills Business tax preparation Corporate and partnership tax GAAP and financial statement analysis Tax research and compliance Federal and state tax regulations Quick Books or similar accounting software Excel and data analysis Tax planning for small businesses Audit support and documentation Cloud-based financial systems
