Your day to day:
- Enter and code bills and vendor invoices into QuickBooks, and prep payments.
- Record incoming payments, apply receipts, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Record day-to-day transactions accurately and on time.
- Prepare routine journal entries.
- Reconcile bank and other basic accounts.
- Run standard financial reports.
- Help close the books each month.
- Follow established accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Escalate accounting questions and anything unusual to senior staff.
- Follow up with property management so every check and invoice comes in properly and on time, by property site.
- Keep financial records well organized and easy to find.
- Pitch in on general administrative tasks as the team's needs shift. What you'll bring
- AA or bachelors degree in accounting (or equivalent coursework).
- 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience — we'll consider one year if you're clearly sharp and coachable.
- Comfort with Excel and Google Workspace.
- QuickBooks experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and a real eye for detail.
- Good communication and a proactive, willing-to-learn attitude.
- Educated on and open to using AI tools in your work.
Pay:
$60,000.00- $70,000.
