Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Support audit cleanup efforts by reviewing financial records, identifying discrepancies, and helping bring documentation up to date.
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately while ensuring transactions are recorded in alignment with accounting standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate variances to maintain reliable and timely cash reporting.
- Assist with general ledger maintenance by reviewing account activity and resolving inconsistencies.
- Contribute to month-end close tasks, including account analysis and preparation of supporting schedules.
- Process and monitor accounts payable activities to help ensure accurate coding and timely payment handling.
- Use Excel to organize financial data, build reconciliations, and create clear reports for accounting review.
- Work within Great Plains as needed to research transactions, update records, and support accounting operations.
