Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end close activities for multiple entities, including journal entries, account analysis, and preparation of financial results.
- Review balance sheet accounts and complete reconciliations to ensure records are accurate, complete, and supported.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger activity while monitoring transactions for consistency with accounting standards and internal procedures.
- Produce recurring financial reports for assigned locations and help ensure reporting is completed within established timelines.
- Partner with the accounting team to coordinate priorities, improve monthly output, and support shared performance goals.
- Respond to accounting-related questions, resolve reporting issues, and apply sound judgment when procedural decisions are needed.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and other cash-related accounting tasks to maintain reliable financial records.
- Support the accounting setup and closeout of newly added or transitioning locations as business needs arise.
