Job Description:
We've partnered with a growing construction company and are actively seeking an experienced Senior Project Accountant to join their team near Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting and project financial management, with expertise in job costing, project billing, retention tracking, payroll processes, and contract administration. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple projects while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies. This is a great opportunity offering room for growth.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field Must reside in the South Bay area 3+ years of construction accounting experience Strong knowledge of: Construction draws Retention tracking Project billing/AIA billing Job costing Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Credit card reconciliations General understanding of payroll processes Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Sage Advanced Excel skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Preferred:
