Type:
full-time Education & Professional Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required. 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or mid-to-large organization. Strong hands-on experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with
U.S. GAAP.
Experience supporting external audits, tax requirements, and internal control processes. Experience working with accounting/ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, or similar platforms. Public accounting experience is a plus. CPA certification or active CPA candidacy is preferred but not required. Technical & Accounting Skills Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data analysis, and financial modeling. Strong general ledger and financial reporting skills. Ability to prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, depreciation, and other complex accounting transactions. Strong experience performing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations. Knowledge of revenue recognition, expense accounting, and financial statement presentation. Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends and discrepancies, and investigate variances. Strong understanding of internal controls and accounting policies and procedures. Ability to work with large volumes of financial data while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Experience with financial reporting, management reporting, and supporting schedules.
