Job DescriptionJob Description Job Summary Total compensation for this position is a salary with bonus potential up to 25% of salary contingent on performance. We are seeking an exceptional Senior Tax Accountant to join a small, prestigious CPA firm specializing in tax preparation and financial services for high-net-worth individuals, and their businesses. This role requires a strong understanding of tax accounting principles and the ability to analyze complex financial data. The Senior Tax Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the organization's financial health and strategic initiatives. Duties
- Manage complex tax preparation and planning for closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
- Develop and implement sophisticated tax strategies to optimize clients' financial positions.
- Oversee and review work of staff, providing mentorship and training.
- Collaborate with clients, financial advisors, and legal counsel to ensure comprehensive wealth management.
- Stay current on tax laws and regulations affecting high-net-worth clients.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports and tax projections to clients.
- Contribute to firm growth through business development and client relationship management. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA certification required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on high-net-worth tax planning.
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax codes, especially as they pertain to wealth management is a requirement for this position.
- Proficiency in tax software and financial modeling tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
