Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and record journal entries to support monthly accounting activity and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage general ledger transactions and review account activity to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Complete account reconciliations and resolve outstanding items to support clean financial reporting.
- Assist with corporate tax-related accounting tasks, including support for tax return preparation and related documentation.
- Support sales tax reporting activities by gathering data, reviewing calculations, and helping maintain compliance records.
- Analyze financial information and identify inconsistencies that require correction or follow-up.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve accounting workflows and support ongoing process updates when needed.
