full-time Junior Accountant We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, invoice processing, and General Ledger (GL) maintenance. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining financial accuracy, and collaborating across multiple departments. Responsibilities Process high-volume Accounts Payable transactions, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payments. Assign and validate General Ledger (GL) codes to ensure accurate financial reporting. Review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Support journal entries and general ledger maintenance. Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests. Partner with accounting, operations, and servicing teams to resolve financial issues and improve processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of accounting experience. Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes. Experience with General Ledger coding and account reconciliations. Ability to analyze invoices and assign appropriate GL allocations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. Preferred Qualifications Mortgage accounting experience.
