We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support the accounting and financial reporting functions of a growing manufacturing organization. This role requires strong expertise in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, along with a solid understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory accounting, cost accounting, and month-end close. The ideal candidate will partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Production teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and support data-driven business decisions. This position is contract to hire with a high growth team.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, identifying trends, variances, and operational drivers.

Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP.Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding variances.

Support inventory accounting processes, including inventory reconciliations, cycle count reviews, reserve analyses, and inventory valuation.

Assist with standard cost reviews, manufacturing variance analysis, and cost-of-goods-sold reporting.

Partner with Production, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate financial treatment of manufacturing transactions.

Leverage ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) to analyze financial and operational data, streamline processes, and improve reporting accuracy.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analyses.

Support external audits and prepare audit schedules and documentation.

Evaluate and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and ERP workflows.

Participate in ERP implementations, upgrades, system testing, and special projects.
