Job Description
Key Responsibilities Prepare and record post journal entries. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Prepare financial statements and management reports. Enter accounts payable invoices and process payments in the accounting system. Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation. Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal controls. Create accounts receivable invoices and receive payments. Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies. Support external audits and tax preparation. Maintain fixed assets records. Reconcile tasting room and e-commerce sales. Support wine club accounting. Assist with the implementation and monitoring of accounting procedures. Follow company accounting. Policies and internal controls. Support compliance with GAAP and company policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferably 2-5 years of accounting experience preferred Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in financial analysis and audit support.
