full-time Private Equity group specializing in Real Estate/Lodging & Hospitality and managing multiple entities is seeking an experienced accountant to perform day-to-day accounting functions and fund administration, including investor reporting and relations, financial statement reporting, fund accounting, construction project accounting, intercompany transactions, journal entries, bank reconciliations, weekly A/P, cost allocations, consolidations, electronic file maintenance, and related administrative duties as needed. Must be proficient in project accounting with a thorough knowledge of various Accounting Systems (currently QuickBooks software). Includes preparing and reviewing financials, partnership accounting, working with third-party fund administrator, accurately posting transactions, capital accounts, account reconciling, receipts, ACH and check payments, creating vendors, generating custom reports, entity maintenance, 1099 reporting, etc. Familiarity with fund accounting and administration a plus. Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a thorough knowledge of Office platforms (MS Outlook, Word and Excel). This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits, requiring keen organizational and communication skills, discerning professionalism, and commitment to excellence.
