Key Responsibilities:

Review and validate fund accounting activity prepared by MUFG, including NAVs, capital activity, allocations, and financial reporting Serve as an internal point of review and oversight for the external fund administrator Review monthly, quarterly, and annual fund accounting processes and investigate discrepancies or unusual activity Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements and supporting schedules Partner with MUFG to resolve accounting questions and ensure accurate and timely deliverables Assist with fund treasury management, including cash activity, wires, cash forecasting, and liquidity monitoring Support capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, and other investor-related activity Respond to investor inquiries and provide accurate fund and financial information Assist with year-end audits, tax processes, and coordination with external service providers Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and participate in special projects across the finance organization Help improve accounting processes, controls, reporting, and interactions with third-party providers Work closely with the 3 person team on broader fund finance initiatives

Qualifications:

3+ years of accounting experience Public accounting experience strongly preferred, particularly Big 4 CPA preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Experience with investment funds, private equity, venture capital, alternative investments, or financial services preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals Ability to review third-party accounting work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced investment environment Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data Intellectual curiosity and an interest in understanding the broader investment management business Please email Ren at ren.friedman@roberthalf.com with your updated resume to be considered for the opportunity.
