Staff Accountant

An established organization in Orange County is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day?to?day accounting operations and month?end close. This role is ideal for someone with a strong grasp of debits and credits who enjoys hands?on accounting work and thrives in a collaborative environment. The position is available ASAP, with transition support from the outgoing staff accountant through the end of the month. Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform general ledger and account reconciliations
• Maintain and track fixed assets
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Prepare cash and commissions reports
• Assist with month?end close and related reporting
• Work closely with the Sr. Staff Accountant and broader accounting team Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of debits and credits
• Experience with journal entries and GL reconciliations
• Exposure to fixed assets and cash reporting
• Proficiency in Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables
• Experience working within an ERP system)
• Curious, detail?oriented, and eager to learn Additional Details

• Immediate need Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
