full-time The Senior Corporate Accountant will support core accounting and financial reporting activities for a growing organization. This position is responsible for helping ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, and reporting requirements. The role will be heavily involved in the close process, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, audit support, and technical accounting matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working cross-functionally in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & General Accounting Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and related schedules Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy Review account activity, analyze fluctuations, and provide commentary on variances Help ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting procedures Reconciliations & Analysis Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations Research and resolve account discrepancies and unusual transactions Monitor prepaid expenses, accruals, and other working capital accounts Perform variance analysis and provide financial insight to leadership Technical Accounting & Compliance Assist with the adoption of new accounting standards and reporting requirements Support adherence to established accounting policies, procedures, and controls Audit Support Partner with internal and external audit teams Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation Respond to audit requests and assist with annual audit and review processes Process Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and strengthen controls Support automation and reporting enhancement initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience working with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Preferred Qualifications Public accounting experience preferred Exposure to financial analysis or planning support is a plus Experience with project-based or professional services environments is helpful
