Job Description

Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to join our client's growing finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, overseeing month-end and year-end close processes, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and supporting audits. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.

Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records.

Analyze financial data and investigate variances.

Prepare financial statements and internal management reports.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.

Coordinate and support external audits and tax preparation activities.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.

Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls.

Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Assist with special projects, system implementations, and process improvements as needed.
