Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead key activities tied to the monthly close cycle, ensuring deadlines are met and financial information is recorded accurately.
- Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate support, maintaining consistency with accounting policies and reporting standards.
- Review and maintain general ledger accounts to help preserve the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items in a timely manner.
- Complete bank reconciliations regularly to confirm cash activity aligns with recorded transactions.
- Analyze financial records and supporting documentation to identify variances, unusual activity, and areas requiring follow-up.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather information needed for close processes and balance sheet reviews.
