Job Description

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Well Master Corporation is seeking a high-energy, dependable Staff Accountant with progressive accounting experience to join our team in Golden, Colorado. This essential role provides accounting support and great customer service. Responsibilities include a variety of accounting and reporting activities, with a focus on accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. This role is expected to be self-motivated and work independently, while managing direction from the various members of the management team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and a high standard of customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurate and timely entry of vendor bills, including a 3-way match on inventory purchases Vendor statement review and reconciliation Weekly and ad hoc accounts payable payment and check processing Review credit card coding company wide to ensure charges are accurately posted to the General Ledger Set up new vendors within ERP system Upload invoices to various customer accounts payable platforms, in accordance with customer and contract requirements Backup for order and transfer order entry into ERP system Accurate and timely recording of customer payments received Complete deposits to company bank account for all checks received Responsible for collection of all outstanding receivables Backup for answering incoming calls and greeting visitors Prepare journal entries for adjustments and accruals, as needed Assist with month-end and year-end close process Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Maintain asset tracking and process monthly depreciation for fixed assets Assist with compiling data for annual audit effort Assist with preparing KPI dashboards for management review monthly Complete daily and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual sales tax filings for multiple states Create daily and monthly sales reports and distribute per company guidelines Other accounting and administrative duties, as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES

Strong accounting, analytical, and organizational skills with superior attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks at once. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills; including maintaining a positive attitude, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and willingness to help resolve issues. Proficient in full Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. Proficient in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably NetSuite. Intermediate to advanced data entry skills.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration is strongly preferred; will provide consideration for equivalent combination of training and experience along with associate's degree or high school diploma. Minimum two years accounting or bookkeeping experience.

Physical Demands:
Requires use of hands and arms at least 80% of the time. Time is divided between sitting, standing, and walking. Sitting and typing for long periods of time is required. Lifting requirements are generally less than 10 lbs.
Work Environment:
Majority of time is spent in a climate-controlled office or warehouse environment. Noise exposure is minimal.
Mental/Visual Demands:
Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are necessary to perform the job functions. Peripheral vision is required for safety. Must be able to maintain focus on work activities with interruptions from phone, employees, and visitors.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
In compliance with Colorado's "Equal Pay for Equal Work Act," the Company provides the following information:

Full-Time Base Salary:
$65,000 to $75,000 annually Eligible for discretionary holiday bonus Choice of health care plans with company contribution towards premiums Dental and vision plans available with company contribution towards premiums FSA and HSA plans available Company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance 401(k) plan: Safe Harbor Match - 100% of first 1% contribution and 50% on next 5% contribution; a total of 3.5% match on 6% contribution Voluntary supplemental life insurance, accident insurance, legal & ID theft protection benefits
