We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part time Bookkeeper & Client Processor to support our accounting operations and team as a contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
New Project Account Setup:
Create and maintain accounts for new construction projects. Ensure all project-related financial data is accurate and up to date.
Accounts Payable & Purchase Orders:
Review vendor invoices to approved purchase orders. Review invoice accuracy and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Accounts Receivable & Client Processing:
Prepare and send onboarding, contracts and invoices to clients. Process and post incoming payments. Monitor accounts and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collection.
City Licenses & Renewals:
Manage renewals and compliance for city permits and licenses across multiple municipalities.
Trade Compliance:
Assist with documentation and tracking to ensure subcontractor and trade partner compliance.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in residential construction, accounting, or a similar administrative role. Proficiency in QuickBooks and general bookkeeping. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organization and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Education & Work Schedule:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or coursework in accounting or business is a plus.
Part-time role:
approximately 16-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Flexible schedule available based on workload and availability.
