IDR is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Louisville, CO. This role focuses on supporting revenue recognition, contract accounting, and financial reporting within a complex technology and government contracting environment. The position involves handling ASC 606 analysis, milestone-based contracts, and ensuring SOX compliance.
Position Overview for the
Senior Revenue Accountant:
Support revenue recognition, contract accounting, and financial reporting processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally with program management, legal, FP&A, operations, and contracts teams.
Maintain SOX-ready controls and assist with audit support.
Ensure accurate monthly and quarterly revenue reporting.
Handle ASC 606 analysis for multi-element arrangements, government, and commercial contracts.
Requirements for the
Senior Revenue Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA.
5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with public accounting and industry.
Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition.
Experience with long-term contracts, government contracting, and milestone billing.
Demonstrated experience with monthly close processes, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
