JOB SUMMARY
This is a fast-paced entry level position for someone who is eager to learn and grow in all areas of Accounting for a contract manufacturer.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with day-to-day, monthly, quarterly and annual closing of financial statements including preparation of journal entries and preparing reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts. Work directly with on transactions including billing, accounts receivable, expense entry, fixed assets, and others. Maintain general ledger of accounts. Assist with year-end audit and tax preparation, insurance audits, 1099 reporting, and other ad hoc compliance as necessary. Produce timely and accurate management reporting including key performance indicators. Review and analyze sales, operational, and financial data and create relevant reporting. Help to maintain and improve internal control structure. Various ad hoc reporting needs. Assist as needed in Cost Accounting.
