$50,000 - $55,000 About the Opportunity Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or early-career accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, a willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This role offers hands-on exposure to core accounting functions and the opportunity to work closely with experienced finance professionals. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily accounting operations, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Assist with financial reporting and analysis. Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed. Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Collaborate with team members on special projects and process improvements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. 1 year of accounting experience, including internships or relevant professional experience. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience preparing reconciliations and supporting month-end close activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
