Fund Accountant - Hedge Fund Taurus Search - 5.0 Greenwich, CT Job Details Full-time 2 hours ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Financial accounting Full Job Description Greenwich, CT Full-time About the Role A stellar opportunity for a strong public accountant just opened up in Greenwich! A $15B hedge is adding a fund accounting professional to support their fast growing team. This will focus primarily on the fund's private hedge funds, and work in a project oriented role collaborating with IR, FP&A, Valuations and Operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early career fund accountant looking to work at a world-class organization with strong name recongition and a pattern of promotion from within.
Responsibilities:
Create the financial and management reports Manage daily NAVs as well as other daily/weekly/monthly reporting Handle PNL calculations, allocations, and incentive fee calculations. Work closely with traders to reconcile trade breaks and settlements Collaborate with tax team on year end tax-return information and tax projections throughout the year Help develop accounting policies and implement automation and AI integrations Review and manage expense budgets and projects related to expense projections and deal allocations Handle cash/position management - reviewing margin requirements and daily cash flows Work closely with tax team to prepare deliverables and support for compliance Assist with PMS data management and integration
Requirements:
2-4 years of experience in public accounting, private accounting, or public/private mix Bachelors degree in accounting and/or finance Strong Excel skills CPA preferred
